We have continued to expand our product portfolio over the last 40 years which now includes catch basins, sewage treatment plants, stormwater retention/detention tanks, precast washrooms and more.
TAL Stone Fence, our precast fence division, produces beautiful precast concrete fence and sound walls. These masonry-pattern walls combine the strength and durability of precast with the beauty of architectural stone. Our wall system is visually stunning and provides years of service. You can see our walls all around Alberta, such as in the City of Calgary along major roadways like Nose Hill Dr. and Sarcee Trail, as entry features in smaller Alberta towns like Bon Accord, and in many areas in the capital city of Edmonton including commercial sites, major highway transportation corridors and suburban neighbourhoods.
Our company underwent a major expansion in 2019 with the creation of our municipal division – S3 Precast. We now offer a full range of precast drainage products including manholes, catch basins, oil/grit separators, precast trenches, barriers and more. All our products are manufactured in our new, 90,000 sq.ft., state-of-the-art facility located in Sherwood Park, AB. We utilize drycast technology and an automated batching plant which allows for high plant throughput without sacrificing quality or turnaround times.
We are proud to have achieved many significant milestones along the way. These include several key partnerships with industry leaders like Verti-Crete, NextStorm, Trenwa, BNA-Inc.
Our plant is certified through the Canadian Precast Concrete Quality Assurance (CPCQA) Certification Program. Our water and wastewater products are manufactured to the latest CSA B66 standards. We strive to have an incident free work environment. In order to have a efficient health and safety management system which meet the provincial standard we achieved and have maintained our Certificate of Recognition (COR).

Manholes, or maintenance holes, provide access to buried infrastructure like storm and sewer lines. Precast concrete structures offer a superior alternative to traditional cast-in-place structures – both in terms of cost and project scheduling.
Our products can be manufactured in a variety of sizes ranging from 1200mm (48”) up to 3000mm (120”). We also have the ability to provide custom openings to accommodate a variety of pipe sizes and types.
Catch basins are openings to the storm system that typically includes a grate or curb inlet at street level where stormwater enters the unit and a sump captures sediment, debris and associated pollutants.
S3 Precast manufacture catch basins in 600mm and 900mm sizes, complete with all the required tops to suit any steel frame and cover/grate.
S3 Precast manufactures grade rings in 525mm, 635mm, 710mm and 910mm diameters and 2”, 3”, 4” and 6” thicknesses.
We also make grade rings specific to K7, DK7 and K3 style of catch basin grates.
